Following on from my posts of plus size shapewear and plus size clothing, today I'm going to be chatting to you about ladies plus size lingerie. If like me, you find it difficult to find bra sizes that actually go up to your cup size then Marisota is certainly a place for you to check out. I sometimes get disheartened when I go into some stores where I simply cannot get a bra to fit me in the cup size or in places like Evans where the back size is always too big for me as they start at a 40, so I sometimes end up buying bras that are plain or boring (and I'm certainly not into plain and boring!) because they are all I can get. Marisota, however, is different. You can get bras that are not only pretty, but go up to an L cup and 56 back size, so no matter what size you are, you'll be able to find a bra that fits.
As with my previous posts, here are a few items that I'm particularly keen on.

Fantasie Simone Underwired Bra

Just look at how pretty this is! It's a beautiful chocolate colour with pinestripe detail, but to add a little bit of fun to it, it has the pink bow and paisley style detailing to it. Panache Ariza Balconette Bra

Once again, this is such a pretty bar. It's perfectly feminine and is designed for a perfect fit. I love the pink flower details around the top and of course, the little bow in the middle. It's currently on sale at £29.00 and it is available in a whole host of different sizes.

Panache Eliza Balconette Bra

This is a beautful classic black bra with a bit of sheer material to give it a bit of a cheeky, sexy twist. I love the scalloped edged cups and flower detailing on the mesh and of course, the lace bow.

A plus size alternative to the highstreet

Hey guys! Following on from my post about plus size magic knickers, I thought I'd make another post about plus size womens clothes. When it comes to plus size clothing it can be hard to find items that are on trend that go up to a suitable size and it's a real pain in the you know what. There are a couple of high street shops out there that are catered to plus size women, but with Womens clothing at Simply Be you can be on trend and the prices are brilliant too. Sizes run from 14-32 so no matter what size you are, you'll be able to find something to suit you. You can also currently pick up some good bargains in the sale on their website with up to 60% off.

Here are a few of my favourite things from their website at the moment-

Faux Leopard Fur Jacket

This jacket stood out to me for the simple fact that it's leopard print. I cannot get enough leopard print! I think this jacket is a nice length than would suit most, not too short and not too long. I also like the fact that it is black and white leopard print instead of the traditional orangey brown and black. It's also a steal at £25! It also runs in a smaller size than the usual 14-32 as it's also available in a size 12 (but it's currently limited stock!)

Rise Boutique Cynthia Dress

This dress is simply wonderful! I find it hard to find dresses as pretty as this anywhere else. It's so femminine and I love the tiered effect. The black belt really adds that finishing touch that will also sinch in your waist a little so even if you don't have hips, it'll give you the effect of hips! This dress is currently on sale at £36 (saving £24 off the original price) I would wear this with some leggings and ballet pumps for a more casual look. A great addition to your summer wardrobe!

And Abigail Ruffle Shrug Cardigan

I wear cardigans like this on an almost daily basis. I usually go for black ones because it goes with everything, but this one is gorgeous in this greyish colour. I love cargigans that hang like this one as they are always flattering on bigger figures as the drape effect just hangs off your curves and doesn't cling. I wear these cardigans as a nice little cover up when it's too hot for a coat and too cold to go without. This cardigan's by And Abigail and currently is on sale at £36 (it also comes in black if this lighter shade isn't to your taste.)

Rock & Revival Wonderland Top

This top is just so me. The wonderland design is just stunning! The top features one long floaty leave and one short sleeve, which I think adds a really unique edge to this top; you'd stand out in the crowd, that's for sure! I like the minimal use of colour too as it gives it a more 'classic' look. This top is currently on sale at just £18 (saving £17)

Joe Browns Bunny Knit Jumper

How perfect is this?! It's a really fun jumper that features some cartoonlike hearts. It's longline and I think the red, grey and black look amazing together. It would look amazing with some leggings for a more casual look. I've owned some of Joe Brown's items in the past and they are so well made, I love 'em! This jumper is currently on sale at half price at £24!

If you're like me and probably a large number of plus size women, you love your little secret that hides under your clothing. Plus size magic knickers work wonders and I'm here to talk you through a few different styles and what they do.

Everyone knows that we all have self conscious days where our wobbly bits just seem to wobble a little more than usual. On these days we need a quick fix and there is nothing better to do this than magic knickers. For those who don't know, magic knickers are underwear that 'pull you in' and support you where you need it, in some cases taking a dress size off. It's not just plus size ladies that use these, celebrities have admitted to using them too to keep their figures looking amazing under their red carpet dresses! The market for these is massive and they've now even started making them for men too!

Here is my guide to a few different styles and which are my favourites.

Miss Mary Control Briefs

These knickers look like conventional knickers, but they have some support in them to help support you where you need it. With the pretty design these could easily be mistaken for normal knickers so are more discreet than some others on the market.

Flexees by Maidenform Briefs

These are one step up from the above knickers because they give more support around the tummy as they are a little bigger. These Flexees also tackle the problem that so many of us have with our magic knickers... the eternal stuggle of getting them on and off. They slide on and off effortlessly. Brilliant!

Triumph Retro Sensation Long Leg Brief

This style of briefs give the support that the Maidenform style of underwear, but they give you the added extra of having support for the thighs as well as tummy, hips and bum. Because these are made out of soft material they are surprisingly comfortable.

Miss Mary Of Sweden Conrol Shaper

This is 'the ultimate'. It covers all bases with its design. If your worry is hips, thighs, tummy, bum or anything inbetween, this is ideal. Items like this one tend to have specially woven areas in the places you need it to give you that extra support. These would be ideal if you were going to a party and your dress clings to your bumps. These briefs give you an all over smooth look so no more clinging!

MAC Bronzer in the shade Golden. I cannot remember for the life of me what collection this is from. It comes boxed and has literally only been swatched once. RRP for the normal version of this is £17.50 but with this you get the cuuuute packaging too. I ordered the wrong shade by mistake. £15

MAC Matchmaster Foundation. I love this foundation, but find that i'm not using it as often as I should be because I wear my Estee Lauder Double Wear all the time. So I thought I'd give another MAC fan a chance to try out this for a cheaper price. It's been used around 4-5 times and has about 95% left. It's in the shade 1.0, which is the lightest shade. £18

MAC Double Feature 2 Eyeshadow Duo. It features a lime green shade and a blue/grey/black shade. Again, I'm not using it as often as I should so I'm letting it go. Used around 3 times. £14

MAC Colour 3 Palette. I can't remember what collection this is from, but it's a nice range of purples. These retail now for around £33. Nice little quad. Used 4 or 5 times. £22

Boudoir Privé Beauty Box - September 2011

Today I finally received my first ever Boudoir Privé Beauty Box! It took a while to arrive, but I must admit that it's worth the wait! Here is what I got in my box:

This eye cream retails at £90 for 15ml! I'd say this was around a 5ml sample so I'm dead chuffed with it!

This looks like a rather interesting hair oil treatment. A bottle of this size retails for £5.75!

This. Smells. Beautiful. If you like the lemon/lime scent that this is for you. It seriously smells good enough to eat. Can't wait to use it.

This is what made the box for me! Zoya are a brand that I've wanted to try for ages but never got the chance to. Now Boudour Privé have given me the chance to give their products a go! I adore this colour. It's something I would've picked for myself!

This glitter 'Boogie Nights' eyeliner by Cargo Cosmetics is quite a let down. I adore glitter in eyeliner's, but this just completely lacks in any decent pigmentation.

This small sample of Agent Provocateur perfume is a little strong for me and isn't the usual fruity scent that I go for, but still not too bad.

These Blot & Bronze papers seem like quite a novel concept, but I quite like being my pale-self haha.

Finally you get this nice little sampler of all the nail colours in the Fall 2011 collection from Zoya!Good idea!

I went into the most unlikely of places today and actually found something that I adored and thought actually suited my style. This place? Bon Marché. Crazy, I know. I liked the item that much that I got two!

Zebra Print Cardigan - £14 from Bon Marché.
This thing is bloody wonderful! I bought the magenta and white versions because I just fell completely in love. On the website the magenta one is called 'red' for some reason, but it genuinely is more pink. I love the black rubbon belt detail on it too. Facets Of Fuchsia Revlon Nail Enamel - £4.49 from Superdrug.
This is going to be the 'must have' colour this autumn, I think. I know in the States a few Guru's have raved about this product. It's also featured on Boots current alarm shrouds at the front of store. I've just put it on over the top of Boulivard by Barbra Daily and it looks wonderful. It's a sheer black polish with magenta pieces of large and small glitter. It looks stunning.

Paperchase Bubble & Sweet photoalbum £9.50
This is adorable! It can be used as either a photo album or a scrap book. The pages are bright and fun. It can be closed and bound by a purple ribbon. It looks so cute and totally kawaii!

This little tin is adorable. I'm going to be putting my makeup brushes in it.

Hello Kitty Wristband £4 from Claire's
I spied this while browsing in Claire's Assessories and had to buy it! It's thicker than most other rubber wristbands (as can be seen on the second photo). It features different sized Kitty's and looks lovely!

Cowshed Lippy Cow Lip Balm £1.49 from eBay

MUA Single Eyeshadows - £1 each from Superdrug.
I still can't get over these eyeshadows. For a quid you just can't go wrong! They are so pigmented, as you can see on the photo. These are four of the new shades. Lovely.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation £26.50
I picked up another bottle of my all time favourite foundation because it is the only foundation that is light enough for my skintone. The shade I go for it 'Shell' and it suits my skin perfectly. I love the dewy finish and it just doesn't budge all day.

In some places at the moment you can get a couple of freebies! They come in this cute little blue mesh bag.

You get this 7 day Advance Night Repair.

You also get this little foundation brush for free too! It seems really good quality and comes in a cute little pouch, so thumbs up for good freebies!

GLOSSY BOX for September 2011
Today I received my second ever Glossy Box. I'm much happier with this box that I was with the last. Here is what I got in my box.

All in all, I'm much happier with this box. I will actually be using every product in this box instead of the one or two that I actually used in the last box. Thumbs up Glossy Box. You've redeemed yourselves!

I got this amazing Sugarpill Cosmetics Trio Chromalust set. I had no idea that these things even existed until I looked on Genie Cosmetics' website. I was really happy with the set because I was going to buy Birthday Girl (The pink colour) and Darling (the teal colour) anyway. Tiara is a beautiful colour too so I'm impressed. For £18.99 I think the set is a bargain as they usually retail at just over £8 each!

I got this Bodyology Crushed Pearl Créme in the shade Bora Bora for only £2.99. I'll probably use this as an eyeshadow base. It's such a beautiful colour.

I also bought two samples of INAZ cosmetics pigments. This one is called Power. It's a stunning bright purple with glitter.

This is another INAZ pigment. I believe it's called Victory (I'm not sure, the sticker on the bottom doesn't seem to fit all the name on.)

Hey everyone! Just a blog post today with photos. Just some things that I've bought or ordered. Also here is my makeup look for today:

I used:
MAC Shimmer Time Pigment all over the lid.
MAC Smoke Signal Pigment in the crease.
MAC Young Punk Glitter eyeshadow in the corner to intensify the look.

Here are the magazines I got today.

Here is the Ciaté nail varnish that you can get free from Marie Clair magazine. There is another one you can get that I believe is a nudey colour. I tried to get a photo to show the exact colour of the polish. It's a pretty purple with goldy duochrome.

Here's the MUA products that I got today. The new nail polish is so pretty and the lipgloss is a lovely pinky purple colour. The lipstick is also a rather nice shimmery mauve. For only £1 each I think the MUA range is amazing quality.

I got these lovely hair clips from New Look for a bargain price of only 50p each! Can't complain at that price!

Rimmel currently have an offer on in Boots & Superdrug where you can get a free Glam Eyes eyeliner for free if you buy selected products. I got the True Match Illuminating concealer. It looks SO pretty.

I have also fallen in love with these dolls that remind me so much of the Obitsu dolls, but at a much cheaper price. They're called Monster High and they have an amazing gothic edge.

She can also be one of Lady Gaga's monsters ;)

The detail on these dolls are amazing. As you can see she has zip earrings and her hair is cut in choppy layers. Love it! She's going to look amazing on display.

They even put loads of effort into her makeup. She's got brown smokey eyes and even added glitter!

New Look haul & Laura Geller

Hey everyone! Today's blog post will be split into two parts. First we have a little mini review of my thoughts on the Laura Geller set I talked about in the last post.

*The foundation is rather nice. It evens out the complexion nicely and really does brighten the appearence of your skin. The porcelin shade actually suits my skintone! I find it almost impossible to find a foundation that is light enough for me, but this one if perfect! The only downside that I can find is if you have any spots or zits, it will not cover them that well, which is a shame, but it to be expected from a powder foundation, I suppose.

*The lipstick is beautiful. So creamy and the colour is a beautiful nude. Perfect.

*The blush, highlight and bronzer trio is delightful. It's so easy to sweet a brush over all three colours and do all three at the same time. It looks brilliant on.

*The eyeshadow duo is also lovely. I prefer the lighter shade to the darker one, but both colours are really wearable and I'm looking forward to applying them both wet and dry.

*The mascara is a bit of a disappointment, to be honest. It does very little to lashes apart from colours them. It doesn't fan the lashes out or make them look longer. They're just... there. It does, however, tint your eyelashes black, which is a nice little selling point.

So there we go!

Secondly I took a journey into New Look today and I picked up a couple of things.

I bought this really cute little Leopard bow headband. I always buy these things but for some reason never wear them that often, but I think I'll be wearing this one :)

I also got this really cute leopard print hiar grip because my hair is finally long enough to put it in my hair.

I saw this star print top and I just fell in love with it straiight away. It's a silky feel top that flares out at the bottom and goes down a little at the back. Pretty!

I also got these deep red jeans. I just fancied something a little different to my black or blue jeans and these just looked like a cute colour. They're a little long for me, but that can soon be sorted out with some sewing skills haha.

I'm also currently loving this nail varnish. It's Hard Rock by Rimmel. Love it!

Hey everyone! I've been meaning to update this place for ages. I've gone for a whole new look for foundonfilm.com. I quite like it, actually.

So, what do I have planned?
Well, I'll be planning to update you on my recent case of hairdying which I did today using a brand new hairdye for me, Paint Box by Fudge.

I'll also be doing a video/blog post about the new Laura Geller Vanilla Nudes Baked set as seen bellow! So far I have only tried the lipstick and foundation. Surprisingly the foundation gives quite good coverage for a powder.

I picked up the Pantene Colour Protect & Volume shampoo & conditioner because I adore them and I'm currently running out. Two for a fiver in Superdrug. Nice. I got the V05 Elixir to help nourish my hair after dying it and the Nivea lip balm is from the Poundshop. Bargain.

I got this BeautyUK lipstick and I adore the colour. It's a pretty bright baby pink colour. The shade is called 'Candy' and it's matte. There's another shade called Innocence that is a similar shade but it's not matte, more a creamy finish. I wanted to get Innocence but they were sold out so I got this one instead. At £3.49 you can't go wrong for a lipstick, can you?

I got the Revlon Nail Growth treatment from the Poundshop because my nails tend to break quite a lot and I picked up another tub of my La Riche Directions hair dye in the colour Fire. I adore it. It's a reddy-orange.

I got these two beauts from Primark. They're a bangle and headband that have really pretty feathers on them. Bargain at only £1.50 & £2.50!

I got these Me Me Me eyeshadows from the Pountshop for £1 each! They used to retail for around £4 so a quid is a good buy, I think! Such pretty colours too.

I grabbed this Sleek Make Up Luminaire Highlighting Concealer from Superdrug for £6.49 (I think that's how much it was) It seems rather good, but we'll see!

I got this lovely neon pink bracelet from Primark for only £2!

These pretty sequin shoes are from Primark and were only £6!

I LOVE these pumps that I got from Primark. I love the buckle detail and they seem so comfortable. At £8, I think they're a good buy.

I also dyed my hair yesterday. I'm BRIGHT again!

Collect London Owl Vest - As Seen on Aiden Grimshaw

When I saw Aiden on the cover of GT Magazine I initially couldn't look away from his pretty face, but then I paid attention to what he was wearing and tell a little bit in love with his vest. I did some searching around and found that it is from Collect London. They only print a certain amount of garments with that design and when I ordered a couple of days ago there were 13 prints left and the last time I checked there were 2 left. I bet it's all down to Aiden and all his Grimlings!

Dainty Doll Cosmetics by Nicola Roberts

When I first saw that Nicola Roberts was to bring out a cosmetics range I got excited. When I heard that it would be specifically made to suit paler skin tones, I got even more excited. I think there's a massive gap in the market for people with really pale skin. I constantly struggle to find foundations that are light enough for my skintone. Although I would love to try to foundation from this range, I can't seem to find it anywhere to buy it. Argh! Anyway, here's a look at the Dainty Doll range that I own.

This is the packaging of Dainty Doll. I adore it. It's so cute and well designed. The only issue that I have with it is that it can be hard to open. I had to rip open the lipstick boxes because they just wouldn't open!

This is the packaging for the lipsticks. I really do like the sleek look of this. It's really cool to the hand and I can't work out if it's because it's metal or if it's plastic. Either way. It's pretty.

Here's the bottom of the lipsticks. They are all numbered instead of having the shade names on it which is a bit of a shame. But I happen to know that they are 004 - Material World & 005 - In His Kiss.

Here is the back of the eyeshadow base. Again, no name, but it's called Bette Davis Eyes.

Here's what Bette Davis Eyes eyeshadow base looks like. It's slightly more yellow based in real life. The base works really well. It's supposed to brighten the eyeshadow and show it's true colour while remaining creaseless and that's exactly what it does. It can also be used on its own just to brighten the skin around the eye.

Here's Hippy Shake. It's not quite showing how light it is on this photo but it's the best I could get. It's a pretty pinky lilac. It's very light coloured so I doubt anyone could really wear this as a blush. I think it should've been called a highlighter instead of a blusher.

Here's a swatch of Hippy Shake. As you can see it's a very light colour.

Here it is blended out. As you can see it's a perfect colour to a highlighter, which is what I'll be using it for.

Girls With Attitude Burlesque Beauty False Eyelashes

Just over a week ago I was contacted by Girls With Attitude and asked if I would like to review their new false lashes that are inspired by the new Burlesque movie featuring Christina Aguilera and Cher. I was a little nervous about doing the review because I've only ever managed to get false lashes on once before. I generally don't have the patience to put them on and can never seem to get them right.
Imagine my complete surprise when I managed to put them on first go! This has never happened before. I was so impressed.

These ones are the Coco lashes. These ones look beautiful! I haven't tried them on yet, but they look so thick they will give a beautiful look to the eyes. I cannot wait to put these on. I'll do another update about them when I do.

These are the Trixi lashes and these are the ones that I put on. They were so easy to use it was crazy! Simply apply the glue with the provided brush (we'll get onto that in a second), look down into a mirror and apply. Easy peasy! They are really lightweight and you can't really feel that you've got them on. Wonderful.

Here is what you get in the box apart from the false lashes themselves...

You get lash glue and a special unique application brush. It's really simple to use. Just put a little glue on the white tray that you get the lashes on and carefully apply the glue to the lashes with the brush. It's so easy to apply.

So, in conclusion these are the easiest lashes to apply that I've ever used. I've tried loads of other brands but they never seem to want to stay on my eyes, but these were simple and easy. Thumbs up.

MAC - A Tartan Tale Collection and other items

Wow. It's been ages since I've updated this blog. I'm sorry about that, but today there's something a little special today... the MAC A Tartan Tale collection! This is the holiday collection for 2010. It's not that festive, but I do really like it. Here are the items that I bought-

Hark The Heraldry Face Kit (Red box): This little compact kit contains 'Dame' sheertone blush, 'Plum Foolery' sheertone shimmer blush and 'Oh So Fair' beauty powder blush. So far I have used Dame & Plum Foolery. Both of the colours are beautiful and last ages. The compact is displayed incorrectly on the MAC website. It's shown in an orange box when really it's red. The only downside I can see to this product is the fact that 'Oh So Fair' was in the previous Disney collection. It's one thing to repromote an item, but releasing the same item in the collection straight after it is a little bit of a rip off!

6 Beauties Play It Cool eyeshadow kit (Blue box): This palette is wonderful. Some of the colours are rather unique and I think most of the colours work well with each other, but a couple of the darker colours can look a little too alike on the eye. You also get a mini brush with it. Usually these mini brushes say 'MAC' and the number of the brush, this one however does not. Thats a little disappointing.

Courting Lilac Glaze lipstick (left): This one is baffling. In some lights it looks a pinky brown colour and in others it looks like a dirty purple colour. On the lips it looks more of a dark pink. I'll be honest, I don't like this lipstick very much.
The Faeire Glen Lustre lipstick (right): Everyone knows I'm a sucker for nude lipsticks and this one is beautiful. It's not just a nude to wash out your lips - it's got a little bit of brown in there to make it a little more obvious. It goes on like a dream too. Love it!

A Wish Come True eyeshadow: I adore the design on this eyeshadow. It's so cute although this one looks a little more like Burberry than the other ones. The colours mix together wonderfully to make a gorgeous pinky nude colour. It is rather pigmented too which usually isn't the case with these special edition cute eyeshadows.

I also picked up these Lady Gaga & Cyndi Lauper Viva Glam postcards. I thought that they were just cute postcards BUT they're also stickers! How cute?

That's it for MAC. Now onto the other things I got today...

Superdrug has now began to stock Accessorize Cosmetics. Of course I had to pick some up...

This baked eyeshadow is in the shade Golden Caramel. It looks like such a pretty colour. I cannot wait to use this.

This blush reminded me of MAC's Moon River, which is my favourite blush ever. It'll be fun to see if it does a good job.

I beleive this lip gloss is called V.I.P. It looks like a deep, dark purple but when you put it on it just gives your lips a very subtle shimmer of lilac. Very pretty and it smells beautiful!

When I saw that Sleek Make Up had a couple of new palettes out I had to dive on them. I LOVE Sleek Make Up. Sadly I found that they only had the Good Girl palette and not the Bad Girl palette. I stoill bought the Good Girl one and I adore it! It's got such pretty colours in it. Love. Love. Love.

This cute little brooch is from Primark and it was only a quid! Bargain!

I LOOOOOVE THIS BAG CLIP! It was only £2.50 from Primark. It's possibly the best thing Primark have ever made. Cuteness.

This pretty scarf was only £3 marked down from £7.99 in H&M. I love it!

When I saw these I obviously had to have them!

This is my beautiful new bag! I got it from New Look. It should've been £19.99, but at the moment they have 25% off on all bags so it worked out at £14.99. I adore it. It's very soft and furry. I think it looks a little like a River Island bag, actually.

Today I picked up this brand new Lil' Angel Harajuku Lovers perfume! The new selection of HL's are named 'Wicked Styles'. Each HL had their own style from Japanese culture. Anyone who knows me knows I love Japanese culture and these styles are amazing. Lil' Angel is dressed in the Gothic Lolita style, which is one of my favourites. Something else I love about these is the fact that their hair is a felt sort of material. It's so lovely.

Barry M Indigo Nail Paint Review

I've been a massive fan of Barry M Nail Paints for a couple of years now and I try to buy the new ones when they come out. So when I saw that two new colours and the Instant Nail Effects had been released I rushed out to purchase them. Sadly the only one that was in stock at both Superdrug and Boots was the Indigo one. I picked that one up and hopefully I'll be able to get the others in the near future.
The photo above makes this nail paint look a little bit more blue than it really is in the pot. It's a beautiful mix of blue and purple. The exact right colour for the name, I think. But when you actually apply it to the nails it just looks like a navy blue colour. I can't really see any of the purple. It's a rare thing for Barry M to look different in the bottle to what you get on your nails.
As with all Barry M Nail Paints the consistency is lovely. It's thick, but without being too gloopy. As always the colour pay off is second to none. The brush is easy to use with very little mistakes.
The one downside that I can see with these nail polishes is the fact that they do chip quite easily. I put applied mine on Friday evening and worked on Saturday followed by going to see Jimmy Carr live and when I returned home my nails were slightly chipped around the edges, but for just under £3 you can't expect everything, can you? Barry M are still one of my favourite brands for nail varnish and this colour is lovely.

So today I received a package from the lovely Sophie from Sophie's Soap (www.sophiessoap.co.uk). Sophie makes beautiful handmade soaps of all shapes and sizes. They are all SLS free, which means there are no unwanted chemicals in there. They are also vegan friendly and haven't been tested on animals, which is brilliant!

Optimum Swiss Apple Over Night Skin Renewal Serum

When I saw that Superdrug were releasing this item I must admit that I didn't quite understand the significance of it. I just assumed it was another skin cream that would be just like the rest, big claims but no results. I then looked into it a little more after I noticed it was sold out in ever Superdrug that I went into. Apparently it contains a extract from a very rare Swiss apple named Uttwiler Spatlauber that can be found in serums priced £200+ for example Cellular lifting serum from Clark's botanicals, but it's a fraction of the price at just £9.99!
Here's what they say about it-

Swiss apple is then name given to the fruit of the extremely rare, and almost extinct Uttwiler Spatlauber tree which can be found in remote areas of Switzerland.

Swiss scientists were first attracted to the species after it was noted that the fruit refused to wither for weeks and even months after picking.

It was found that the apple contained regenerative stem cells which protected the fruit from decay much longer than observed in other fruit produce.

Further clinical research revealed that by slicing the apple, a layer of stem cells formed on the incision which could be harvested and grown in a liquid culture.

Their findings were published in the Journal of Applied Sciences and extensive clinical trials on a 1% solution commenced. The staggering results showed that Swiss apple stem cells can boost human cell production by 80%.

I find that the texture of this product is really nice and silky and you really don't need to use that much of it. I haven't noticed any difference in my skin yet obviously because I've only used it for one night. I look forward to doing a full on review :)

Home from mini break. Here's the pics

Helloooo all!
Today I arrived back home from my mini holiday in Skegness. It was rather nice, but the place we stayed was really uncomfortable. I love Skegness. It's by far my favourite seaside town. So this post is just going to be photos and a little chat about some of them. Most are items that I bought while there, but there are a couple of Hello Kitty ones in there too ;)

I got this top from Yours Clothing. I've only ever been in one other Yours Clothing store before, but I have ordered from them before online. I have noticed that you really need to order a size above what you actually are otherwise I find them to be too tight. It was nice to get the chance to try this on before I bought. It was £14 and well worth the money. The fabric is lovely and it hangs great. I love the little frill around the bottom hem.

I saw this in Superdrug. It's the new Max Factor Xperience Weightless Foundation with SPF10. It was £12.99 and I got it in the shade Light Ivory. I was so happy to see the world 'light' in front of ivory because most foundations even in the lightest shade are far too dark for me, but thankfully this one is perfect! It gives lovely coverage and it really is weightless! New favourite of mine.

I got this Jemma Kidd Make Up School lipgloss FREE with a box of Bodyform. They were on offer at 2 for £2! So I got two of these lipgosses for two quid. Bargain or what? I love the look of this lipgloss on the lips. It's a tiny bit sticky but not too much. Adoreeeee it.

This is the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer. It's only £3.99 and I'm really impressed. I got it in the shade 'fair' and it is perfect for my skintone, but some people have commented that it's too light for them. I love the coverage of this concealer and it really does last for ages. The best concealer that I've tried in ages and a bargain price!

I saw this on a stall in Ingoldmels and thought I'd get it because it was so cheap. It was only £5. I haven't tried it yet so really can't comment on it just yet.

Here we have another Benefit rip off! This time it's by W7 and it's called Africa. As you can see the blush itself is a beautiful leopard print design. It's a really nice touch. I got this from Ingoldmels market for £2.99!

OLAY & UMBERTO GIANNINI

Hola all. So today is the first day of my mini break and what kind of break would it be if I didn't pick a couple of things up that I'd been eyeing up for a while.

So, I picked up the Olay Total Effects Wake Up Wonder moisturiser. I got a sample size version of this a few weeks ago and I have been very impressed with it.
I always used to see Olay as more of a 'middle age' brand, but as soon as I used this I noticed an instant difference. My skin and especially around my eyes looked brighter and more awake. It's also lovely and mooisturising but without being greasy.
I first looked in Tesco for this and it was priced at £13.99. I checked on my phone how much it was in other places and it was £9.99 in Superdrug. Brilliant, I thought until I looked on the Boots website and found it at £7.99! So.. I went to Boots and picked it up there.
Lovely.

Then I picked up two of these bad boys, Umberto Giannini Backcomb In A Bottle. As soon as I read the word 'backcomb' I was sold! I love to have a little lift in my roots but because my hair is so fine I find it so hard to without backcombing the hell out of it, which as everyone knows isn't ideal for your hair. This apparently is supposed to give the backcombing effect without all the actual backcombing! Mega. I haven't tried this yet, but when I do I'll be sure to do a review. These are on offer in Boots - 2 for £7.50 so I thought with the money that I save from the Olay, I'd get these.

A FEW THINGS

Hi everyone. Today has been spend packing for a little trip. Most of my clothes I've packed are from the new Beth Ditto collection and it took a while to decide what cosmetics to take. I think I may have over packed for such a short amount of time, but I don't care. Better to be safe than sorry. You never know.. I might need three foundations!

So, over the past couple of days I've received two foundations. I got them both from the QVC Four Easy Payments beauty day. Who can say no to an offer like that? Another thing that I adore about QVC is the fact that you can use the items for 30 days and if you don't like them you can send them back... even cosmetics! I've never had to send anything back yet, but it's good that have that peace of mind.

Here are the two foundations: Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation and Laura Geller Creme To Powder foundation

Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich
I got this foundation in the shade 0 - Porcelin. I haven't tried this foundation yet, but I tried it on my hand. The first thing that I noticed is the smell. It's a very unique smell, not a bad smell though. When I used it on my hand I quite liked the formula. It seemed to give a fair coverage and seemed like a foundation that could be buildable. I'll see how it goes!

Laura Geller Creme to Powder
This foundation is in the shade Bisque, although on the QVC website it was just called 'Light'. My first impressions of this foundation were that it would be far too dark for my skin, but when I tried it on half of my face it seemed to match quite well. The sponge that's provided seems to work pretty well and I'm thankful that this foundation is full coverage. I'm a sucker for full coverage foundation.

In other news, I've been doing some eBay bidding over the past couple of days and when I came across the black suade studded bag from last years Beth Ditto at Evans collection I almost had a heartattack. I SO wanted that bag at the time, but it was £55 so couldn't afford it at the time. The bidding started at 99p so of course I bidded. I was determind to win so put in quite a high bid. I ended up getting the bag for £14. Bargain! I tried it on over my shoulder when the collection came out and its SO comfortable over the shoulder. I can't wait to get it!

BETH DITTO AT EVANS IN PICTURES

So today the Beth Ditto at Evans collection was released in stores outside of London and of course I had to go and try things on. I grabbed everything that I wasn't getting sent from the lovely people at Evans and tried them on.

This is what the store looks like as you walk in. I really like how it's set out. Had a nice conversation with a Evans colleague about Beth and how lovely this collection is.

This is the paris print hanki hem top. I LOVE this. I think it hangs beautifully and would look great with jeans too if you wanted to wear it as a top instead of a dress. Love. Love. Love. Bought this one.

This is the black jersey belted dress. I was hoping that this would look amazing on me, but I don't really think it did a thing for me. Didn't buy this one.

Here we have the black ruched jersey maxi dress. The good thing about this dress is you can customise it quite easily with the ruching. I thought that the dress would be far too long for me, but after a bit of customisation I thought it looked rather nice. I didn't buy this, but I think I will in the future. I don't actually own a LBD. lol.

This is the black and ivory longline top. What can I say? I adore polka dots! I didn't think I'd like this one that much, but once I tried it on I fell a little bit in love. It's rather hard to get a picture that does this piece justice, but trust me.. it's lovely! Bought this.

This is the black and ivory spot t shirt. I was looking forward to this one. I quite liked the idea of just a normal t-shirt, but sadly I wasn't a fan of it on. It's very skinny fitting. I tried one on that was a size to big for me and it was still so tight. Sadly, didn't buy this.

I really wanted this! It's the black and ivory spot dress. Sadly the store had sold out of my size so I had to try on the size above and it was far too big for me. It's such a shame because I really wanted this!

These are the lace studded ankle boots. I adored these from the moment that I saw them. I can't walk in heels to save my life, but I'm willing to try for these! Bought them.

This is the floral print pocket dress. This was the biggest surprise of the collection. I didn't expect this one to look ok on me, but I love it! It fits so lovely on the bust and I love the addition of the pockets! I always feel lost without pockets, lol. Bought this!

So that was that, or so I thought.. Once at home there was a knock on the door and two lovely packages arrived. They contained my samples from Evans for doing their video last week. I was so excited I jumped around for a little while hehe. I was left to try them on and take photos in my parents bedroom. Not ideal, but you get the idea.

Here we have the floral print denim skirt and heart lurex short cardigan. I probably wouldn't wear these two together, but I do love both of them. I think the cardi will be one of the best sellers from this collection. I don't own a skirt(!) so this one is a lovely one to begin with!

This is the lightening bolt jumper. This one was one of my favourites from the moment I saw it last week. It's rather hard to get a good photo of it, but trust me it's beautiful. I've read in other reviews that this is itchy and they're not wrong. It is very itchy, but it's easily sorted if you just were a t-shirt under it!

This is the black knitted hooded cape. Love this! It hides all lumps and bumps and will come in SO handy over the winter months. Gives the warmth of a jumper but without feeling so close. Love it.

This is the heart print hanky hem top. This is almost identical to the paris top. This one is a little more on the edgey side with the colours. It's beautiful. I love how it hangs.

So all I need to say is.. I LOVE THIS COLLECTION!

CALVIN KLEIN COSMETICS

I received some Calvin Klein cosmetics in the post this morning. I got them from fragrancedirect.co.uk because I've been eyeing them up for a while and when I saw the prices I had to order some. So here's what I got -

Here we have the Calvin Klein Infinate Hydration Foundation. It only cost £5.50 and I got it in shade Warm Neutral, which I believe is the lightest shade. The coverage isn't that great, but I think there's a chance that it would make a good base for other foundations. I think I might apply it with a sponge tomorrow instead of with my fingers.

This is an CK eyeshadow in the shade Honeymoon. It's a really nude colour that's quite hard to see, but I really like the gold look without it being in your face.

Here with have a Calvin Klein lipstick in the shade Oasis (101). It's a little lighter than it's showing up in the photo, but it's beautiful. It's a nude shade with a really nice gold shine to it. It looks beautiful on.

Hi everyone! This post is going to be about a few things that I'm loving at the moment and then maybe some things that I got in the post.

Firstly..

THINGS I'M LOVING!

David & Goliath Totally Awesome lip jelly.
I actually quite like this even though it was cheap. Ok, it's supposed to be cherry flavoured and I can't taste anything, but the formula is rather nice and my lips feel lovely!

Assassins Creed Bloodlines PSP.
I've been a massive fan of Assassins Creed games since the first one came out and when I saw that this game had come in at work, I had to get it. Sure the graphics on the PSP aren't that great and the story doesn't seem like the best, but it's Assassins Creed and it'll tide me over until Brotherhood comes out in November!

Lush Tea Tree Water.
I've used a few things like this from Lush in the past, but this seems to be working better than others. The tea tree helps blemishes and I've noticed a massive difference in my blemishes in just a few days! Thumbs up!

My new chair!
I got this new chair the other day from IKEA. It's a beautiful light baby pink and it's soooo comfortable.

THINGS I GOT IN THE POST

I got these little charms from eBay. They're little babies dressed as different Sanrio characters. As you can see, some of the detail is beyond terrible, but they were cheap and the ones that are painted ok are pretty cute!

So, what is everyone getting from the Beth Ditto at Evans collection? I keep looking online at the collection and it's making me edgy, but I need to wait until it comes into stores on Thursday so I can try the items I want on and get my discount. Woot!

This belt is certainly one of the highlights of the collection. It's soooo pretty.

This polka dot t-shirt is a simple and pretty item. I'm a sucker for polka dots.

I wasn't blown over by this when I saw it, but on the promo pic of Beth in this dress, it completely blew me away. I adore it and it must be mine!

This polka dot dress is beautiful. There is nothing more that needs to be said. Beautiful.

and finally...

These boots are the prettiest boots I've ever seen. I generally cannot walk in heels AT ALL, but I think I might be willing to try for these.

Beth Ditto At Evans Preview

Hi everyone!
As many of you are probably aware, I was invited to London by Evans Clothing to preview the brand new Beth Ditto collection. It's her second collection for the brand and I simply couldn't say no.
The day didn't get off to the best start because my train was 42 minutes late, but thankfully everything seemed to go smoothly from there.
My mother and I got a little lost on our way to the studio, but a wonderful man named Jeremy came to save us!
Once at the studio the new Beth Ditto collection was laid out over a massive table. I really don't know where to look first! There was so many items I just couldn't take it all in at first. There are so many beautiful prints and colours. I think this new collection is actually more wearable than the last one, which I think is wonderful because although I adored the last collection, I can see why some people might not. Beth's second collection involved polka dots, hearts, lightning bolts, flowers and other things that I'm probably forgetting. It's beautiful, well made and captures the essence of Beth perfectly.
I was asked to make a video for them in the same style that I do at home and I hope that it turned out alright for them. Fingers crossed.

The collection gets two massive thumbs up from me. The collection lanches on Friday so be sure to check it out!

Le Mans Series...I met Giancarlo Fisichella :D

Today my dad and I went to Silverstone to see the final round of the Le Mans Series. We got to the circuit at around 8:30am and after parking up we set off to have a look around the track. I noticed a stall that was selling Giancarlo Fisichella caps so obviously I rushed over. The cap was from years ago but at £6, how could I resist? I also noticed they were selling the Fisichella teddy bears for £3 or 2 for £5. I bought one, because I already had one and I wanted to keep one in a box.

We then headed into the paddock area because there was an autograph session that we taking place at 10am. I located Giancarlo's lorry and stood outside it.

Because we were there so early I expected to be waiting around for ages to meet Giancarlo, but he suddenly appeared. He was lovely and here are my photos...

Evans Clothing & George @ Asda haul

Here are a few items that I got yesterday from Evans and George @ Asda...

This is a beautiful perfume, bows & pearls top I got from Evans. It was only £7 in the sale, but with my discount I got it for £4.20! I adore this and have been eyeing it up for a long time. I thought I'd missed my chance to get it but when I saw it in the sale I dived on it! It is a size too big for me, but I don't think it really matters with something as floaty as this top. It's beautiful. I love it!

I also got this top from Evans. It was also £7 so its a complete bargain. I think this had been something like £30 before the sale. I wasn't too keen on the colour but I love the design so I bought it anyway. My lovely mother dyed it black for me today and it's currently drying. I think it will look alot better on me in black than a peachy colour. :)

I got this little set from George at Asda. It's a black vest and a beautiful pink shirt. I doubt I'll wear the vest, but I adore the shirt. I've wanted one like this one for ages so when I saw it I grabbed it!

Then, of course when I saw this I had to buy it. How could I say no to Hello Kitty? I adore the Hello Kitty Nerd branding!

So what else is going on? Well, tomorrow I'm going with my dad to see the Le Mans Series at Silverstone. The only reason I'm going is to see Giancarlo Fisichella. I can't wait! I hope I get to meet him at the autograph session. I've been a fan of him for 12 years and I've never met him yet. Sniff! I'll be taking loads of photo, of course and I'll be uploading them when I get home.

Benefit vs Me Me Me

As many people have said in the past, Benefit cosmetics can be a little on the pricey side, which is one of the reasons why I only have a few of their items. Another reason is there is so much of it and although all the names of the products are quite cute, I have a hard time actually knowing what any of them do. Imagine if there was a company that took the best ideas from Benefit and made them their own. Too good to be true? How about if they sold those items for a fraction of the price of Benefit? You think I'm pulling your leg. Well I'm not.
Me Me Me have been taking influence from Benefit for a while now with such items as Moon Beam etc but now they have added another item to their list... Blush Me!.

On the left is one of the brand new Blush Me! and on the right is Benefit's Coralista.
Where the Benefit items are £20+ the Blush Me is only £6.49 at Superdrug. (The current price is on special offer. Usual price £7.49)
As you can see the boxes are very similar. Me Me Me have certainly gone to town with the packaging. If it didn't say Me Me Me on it you'd think it was by Benefit.

The only obvious differences that I can see between the two items are the fact that the Me Me Me box is slightly taller than the Benefit one and the Me Me Me one has a mirror on the inside. One up to Me Me Me!

And then we move onto the brushes that are included. Me Me Me actually took the time to brand their blush and it is notably softer than the Benefit brush. Two up to Me Me Me!

And finally we move onto the product itself. It's hard to compare these two because they are such different colours, but Coralista has always been one of my favourite blushes. I love the texture and how it looks on the skin. The Me Me Me Blush Me! Bronze really looks nice on me as a blush instead of a bronzer, but you need to be very careful with it. In all honesty the forumulas do seem fairly similar.

I do love both products, but the saving that you make on the Me Me Me Blush Me and the time that they take on making the product their own really puts it ahead for me. Thumbs up to Me Me Me!

Here are a few things that I've picked up lately...

These are the Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash & Scrub that I picked up from Superdrug. I got them both for £5 so I don't think that £2.50 each is a bad price at all really. I looked at the facial wash in Boots and it was £4.49 so £5 is a bargain!
I've tried them both once already and I must say they smell delicious!

Here's my latest TY Hello Kitty plush. It's one of the new ones out for Halloween (A bit early, don't you think?!) It's Hello Kitty as a bat and it is SO adorable. She looks lovely with her big black wings and orange nose.

So, what's been happening lately? Not much is the answer. I've mainly been working. I've just ordered some Graftobian cosmetics as I've been watching gossmakeupartist's videos about some of their products and they seem pretty good and a very reasonable price too. I've ordered a couple of lipsticks, a glittelr powder and some foundation... I just hope I've ordered the right shade, it's so hard to find pictures online. Fingers crossed.

First of all let me tell you how excited I am about the new Sanrio Friends collection at the Build A Bear Workshop. There are three new additions to the Sanrio line and includes the repromote of the white Hello Kitty. The other characters are My Melody, Chococat & Keroppi.
I personally love the way that Chococat looks the most, but I will be purchasing My Melody because she is my favourite character (other than Hello Kitty & Kuromi of course)
I will also be getting the white Hello Kitty because I only have the Tropical Hello Kitty at this moment in time. I can't wait. I also can't wait to get the little leopard print top that Hello Kitty is wearing in that promo photo. Needless to say it will be mine! It's going to be quite an expensive day out :-/
I love Build A Bears but they are so bloody expensive so buying two will cost me quite a bit, but they'll be worth it I'm sure.

In other news... over the past couple of days I've been trying out Good Things Skincare.

I've used the Stay Clear Cleanser & Five Minute Facial Mask so far and I must say they seem really good. The cleanser is the nicest smelling skincare product I've ever used and it really makes me skin feel clean without leaving it greasy and the Mask? I've just used it and my skin feels so soft. Thumbs up so far!

Why I love... Giancarlo Fisichella

I decided that I would start doing a little blog feature called 'Why I love...' In these blog posts I will be talking about something I love and why I love it! It's pretty simple stuff really!

So, in this first feature I will be talking about someone that I have been a fan of for around 14 years. I've been a fan of a lot of things over the years and they've all come and gone. I've grown out of them or just forgotten about them, but this man have been my favourite consistantly for years and years. The man in question...

Giancarlo Fisichella

For those of you who don't know who he is, or haven't read my Twitter rambles about him; Giancarlo Fisichella is an Italian motorsport wonder.
He started out his Formula One career in 1996 with Minardi, who were the 'back markers' of the F1 world. He didn't last the whole season because the team needed someone who could pay to drive for their team so Giancarlo was replaced, but he obviously showed great promise because Eddie Jordan soon secured his services for the 1997 year, getting Giancarlo to race for his Jordan team alongside Ralf Schumacher. Giancarlo then spend a couple of years teaming with Alex Wurz. He had some success with the Benneton team, achieving a few second places. In 2003 he moved back to Jordan and it was here when he won his first race, under confusing circumstances. Kimi Raikkonen was declared the winner but it was soon confirmed that Giancarlo had actually won. He got his winners trophy at the next race.
In 2004 he moved to Sauber Petronas and had a rather bad season, but it was mostly down to the poor performance of the car.
In 2005 Giancarlo got off to an amazing start with his new team Renault (Born form the ashes of Benetton) by winning the first race of the season and there was no question over his victory this time. I was so pleased and thought that finally he had a chance to win the championship. He finally had a good enough car, but of course, he was never given a real chance to win because of Fernando Alonso. Don't get me wrong, I love Fernando, but he always seems to demand being the number 1 driver. A couple of examples of this are Piquet's fixed crash and the Ferrari scandal of last weekend. Giancarlo still finished 5th in the championship. Brilliant!
He stayed with Renault in 2006 and finished the highest championship position in his career in 4th after winning yet another race.
2007 saw Giancarlo once again staying with Renault, the year that featured his only disqualified race finish after he ignored the pit lane stop light.
In 2008 he moved to a brand new team called Force India where he'd stay for the majority of 2 years. It was the 2009 season where I think I was most proud of Giancarlo. It was the Belgian GP at Spa. Giancarlo, despite being in what is usually called a 'backmarker' car got onto pole position! In the race he was overtaken by Kimi, but he kept on his tail for the whole race. He didn't let Kimi in the superiour car get away from him. I was oh so proud of him. He only came second, but it was the most proud he'd made me in his whole career.
It was after that race that Giancarlo moved to Ferrari after Felipe Massa's injury. I think I expected too much from Fisi. The car was very hard to drive and he didn't perform quite as well as Kimi did, but I was still do happy that he could see out his Formula One career in a team that is from his own country and with such presteige.
Giancarlo is now semi-retired from Formula 1 and it now Ferrari's test driver. He is also taking part in the Le Mans Series this year, which I will be going to see at Silverstone this September. I can't wait! I'll be getting out my Fisichella flag and waving it proudly.

In conclusion, it can't be put into words how much I adore Giancarlo. I've travelled to see him a few times, but have yet to meet the man himself. He is my idol and if I met him, I seriously don't know what I'd do. I've met loads of famous people in the past and I'm completely fine with it, but Giancarlo is different. He's GIANCARLO FISICHELLA. I would possibly faint. I've adored him for so long. Back in the days when all the English he knew was 'I am very 'appy' which always amused me greatly. His English has improved so much and I'm just generally so proud of him for everything. I remember when he was awarded the Driver Of The Year award which is voted for by fellow F1 drivers. That shows how highly he is thought of by his piers. I've rambled so much, but Giancarlo deserves it. I can't put into words what he means to me.

A friend who got worried after not being able to contact Daisuke, went to visit his place at 2am on the 15th, and found Daisuke dead."

Here's some close ups of a few things I got in the past week or so :)

Here are a couple of magazines that I got that may be interesting to a few cosmetic junkies. More magazine gives you a coupon to get a free Barry M Dazzle Dust and Glamour gives you one of three Benefit pencils. I bought all three.

Here are the three pencils. Eye Bright is an eye brightener. It Stick is a concealer and Bad Gal is a black eyeliner pencil. Three Benefit items for £6 in total? FANTASTIC!

How I dye my hair & what products I use.

As many of you may know I enjoy dying my hair. I like having hair that's not the 'norm' and receiving comments about it. I like standing out a little. I get asked quite a lot about how I dye my hair and what products I use so I thought that I'd make a blog entry about it to help people out who also would like to have bright hair!

The first thing you should know is that keeping your hair vibrant and in good condition is a lot of hard work! It involves having to bleach your hair, then colour it and then keep up a strict routine to keep your hair in good condition.

The first thing that you need to do is bleach your hair. This step might be one that you want to get done at a professional salon, especially if it's your first time of bleaching it. All hair is different and if you don't know if your hair can take it or not, it's best to get it done by a pro.

For bleaching my hair I tend to use Smart Highlights in Carmine Pink. These cost around £4.99 and you can get them from Superdrug. This colour is great because it bleaches your hair while also adding the pink colour so it sort of saves the job of colouring your hair again. I only use this on my roots when they grow through. Once all your hair is bleached you should only apply bleach to your roots and not all your hair, this will just damage your hair. After I've dyed my hair using this kit and it's ready to wash off, I use a shampoo that is very gentle. I use Johnson's Baby shampoo.
This is just a nice and neutral shampoo that won't damage the hair so soon after bleaching.

Another point to watch out for it staining of your bath! If you wash the dye off in your bath then make sure you give it a scrub afterwards. No one wants a white bath with pink stains!

Right.

Because the colour of the Carmine Pink is slightly different from the colour I tend to go for, I like to dye over it with a vegetable based hair dye. These are great because they don't damage your hair, but to get the best results your hair must be bleached beforehand. The brand that I use is La Riché Directions. It wonderfully cheap. You can pick them up from eBay for around £3 a tub.
Bargain!

I use two colours mixed together.
Pillarbox Red & Flamingo Pink

They give me the perfect shade that I like. It's not quite red and it's not quite pink. I love it.

I always find that Directions conditions my hair beautifully, which is something you wouldn't expect from a hair dye. I've tried many other brands of dye but this is by far the best. I used the Manic Panic Amplified in the past and was SO disapointed in how long it lasted... or how long it didn't last.

Ok so now you've got your hair the colour you want it, but what do you use afterwards to keep it in good condition. Well... here are a few items that I use to keep my hair looking nice.

I use Aussie products mainly on my hair because they never fail to make my hair feeling soft and beautiful. I've recently been using Miracle Moist shampoo & conditioner. I hate the smell but this is the best for keeping your hair looking soft and generally gorgeous. I also reccomend the Colour Mate shampoo by Aussie. It smells beautiful.

Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle Colour is a fantastic way to give your hair that extra treat that it needs. Just leave it on for a few minutes and it leaves your hair feeling oh so good!

Dying can cause split ends so I like to lather Beautiful Ends Intensive Mask by Herbal Essences into my hair. It really does help with those nasty split ends. Wonderful.

Your hair will of course fade fairly quickly, but you don't need to bleach your hair every time you dye your hair. You can just top it up with Directions until your roots get too out of control hehe. I like to use this La Riche Pre-Colour shampoo before I dye with the Directions hair dye because it prepares your hairto receive the dye and helps it to last a little bit longer.

After finally getting around to sorting out my desk and getting myself a little more organised, I found a few gems that I had forgotten about. The main one is this mascara. I haven't used it in a couple of months and thought I'd give it a go this morning and I forgot how completely perfect it is! It's the Maybelline Pulse Perfection mascara.

This mascara is Maybelline's take on the famous vibrating mascaras from Lancomé & Estee Lauder. I never had the heart to buy either of them, because of the price. I don't really like the idea of spending £20+ on a mascara, so when this Maybelline version came out, I jumped at the chance to try it out.

It took a little while to get used to the wand, but after a while it becomes easy. It's so easy to get to the outer lashes, too. It makes lashes so thick, long and beautifully separated. After just a couple of coats it looks like you're wearing false lashes. It is completely fantastic and now I have rediscovered it, I won't be letting it go again!

Pros-
* The end result.
* The price - £14 is much cheaper than the £20+ high end brands cost.
* The wand is easy to use.

Cons-
* The wand might take a little while to get used to.
* The battery isn't quite as long lasting as you might hope. The vibrating dulls a little over time.
* The print rubs off the tube easily. I know it isn't a huge deal, but it might annoy some.

Hello you wonderful people.

I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I'd give it a go now. I'm currently watching the Top Gear Vietnam special. It's the best Top Gear episode by far. I truly adore it. :)

Anyway, I'm off to see Field Music on Sunday night at the Fuzion in Sheffield Uni Union. I have no idea where it is, but hopefully we'll be able to find it. Does anyone happen to know where it is?

The scarfs are so pretty but because they're silky they always seem to fall off my neck! Damn!
The necklace is much bigger than I imagined. It's so beautiful. The crystals glitter so nicely in the light. It's perfect. I haven't updated this blog in a while! So here I am! Thank you to everyone who bought something from me on the my blog sale. I hope you love the stuff you got :)

I'm heading off to see Dave Gorman on Friday! That man is surely one of the greatest legends that's ever existed! He's playing the good old Sheffield City Hall and of course I had to get tickets to it. It wasn't until a few minutes ago that I remembered that I'm on the second row! I can't wait. I've never been so close to the stage before. Niiiice! Long live Dave Gorman and his genius ways.

Soon I'll be dying my hair red again! This time instead of going for XL Live Colour's Real Red, which turned slightly orange on me, I'm going to be using Red Passion, which is a much more deep red, but will probably fade to a rather nice colour. Hopefully!

My mum and I did a strand test on it the other week and I think that by next week my hair will be ready to take it. Being blonde is brilliant but it's so much hard work to keep up. Harder than when I had a million colours in it lol.

Another thing that's happened since I last updated... I got my iPhone! As anyone who's watched my videos will know because I have been going on about it quite a lot lol. I adore it so much. It does use a lot of MB though. Hope my 1GB internet usage will be enough!

I got this Incipio Feather case in the post today.
It's actually bloody brilliant. It's super thin and has a really nice matte finish to it. I also adore the colour of it. So pretty. It's much nicer than the Griffin one I had before. It was far too bulky.

ELF vs MAC & GOSH

ELF High Definition Powder vs MAC Transparent Finishing Powder

I recently made an ELf order and received it a few days ago. One of the items I bought is the ELF High Definition powder (£6) and I decided to compare it to MAC's Transparent Finishing powder (£17).

Here we have the ELF powder. As you can see, it's a very finely milled white powder than turns transparent on the skin and gives a really nice finish. You get 8 grams of product inside this rather large container. As you can see, if you shake the container too much, quite a lot of product does come out and it can get a little messy.

Here is the MAC Transparent Finishing powder. This powder looks very similar to the ELF powder. It's very finely milled and comes in this compact container. You also get 8 grams of product in this powder. The idea of the powder is the same as the ELF one - gives the fact a more perfected look. Brilliant!

The verdict -
Packaging - I quite like the packaging for both of these products. The ELF powder is in a much larger container, but you get the same amount of product as the MAC. I think the MAC container is a little better at keeping the powder inside the pot instead of flying into the air. Verdict - MAC.

The Powder - I really do quite like both of the powders. They both work really well for their job. They both make your skin feel super soft and really perfect your complexion. They both make foundation stay a lot longer than usual too. I quite like that the ELF powder gives a little bit of a glimmer to your face. Verdict - ELF.

Price - Hands down ELF is more worth the money. You get the same amount of product in both of them and there is a difference of £11! The ELF powder for £6 truly is a bargain. Verdict - ELF.
Overall winner... ELF!

ELF Mineral Face Primer Vs GOSH Velvet Touch Primer

When I thought about doing a comparison of both of these products I thought there would be a clear winner. I have been using GOSH Velvet Touch Primer for over a year now and I adore it. I obviously assumed that nothing could possibly beat it. It turns out that I was wrong! The ELF Mineral Face Primer would just as well at a fraction of the cost! The ELF primer is a mere £6 whereas the GOSH will set you back £13! That's a whopping saving of £7.
When you first dispence the product both of them look the same until you actually look at them together -

On the left if the GOSH and on the right is the ELF.
As you can see, the GOSh primer is much runnier than the ELF. I find that the ELF is much easier to use and a very little goes a long, long way. Perfect!
The ELF does just as good of a job at priming your face as the GOSH and just look at how neat the packaging is! It's also mineral so that's got to be good, right?
Overall, I believe that my staple face primer will be replaced by the ELF for a long time to come! :)

Nick Heidfeld in F1 2010?

I haven't really talked that much about Formula One on the internet in a while. I've mentioned bits and bobs on Twitter @FoundOnFilm, but I decided today would be a good day to talk about my feelings of how the F1 season is planning out so far. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but if by chance you are into F1 them please comment and tell me your views.

The 2010 season so far isn't looking like the best season for me and my favourite drivers. For example, Giancarlo Fisichella is now Ferrari's reserve driver. This basically means that he is only there to stand in should a main driver not be able to compete. This means I will never get to see him or cheer him on pretty much. There was a glimmer of hope recently that maybe he would be driving for Sauber (because Ferrari supply the engines for Sauber now) but that hope was dashed today when Pedro De La Rosa was announced as the final driver for the team. I think that's a bad call. Pedro was never even that great in F1 when he was in his prime. Fisi would've obviously been a better choice. But what do I know.

The main thing that is worrying me this year is... Nick Heidfeld (see picture)
Since the demise of BMW Sauber his status in the F1 world has been under question. He was linked with the Mercedes GP seat next to Nico Rosberg until Michael Schumacher announced his return to the sport. Part of me was really pleased that Michael would be returning because I was a major Michael Schumacher fan before he retired. But mostly I am sad because a seat at Mercedes GP would've been Nick's best chance of actually having a good season. I don't think he's ever really been given a good enough car to let him showcase his skills.
Since his seat was taken by Michael his future in F1 has been in doubt. He's pretty much the only good driver yet to get a race seat for this season. More recently he's sort of been linked to drive at Renault with his former BMW Sauber team mate, Robert Kubica. I think this is his last chance to get a drive as there are only a couple of seats still available. I really hope that he gets to race next season. If he doesn't... what on earth am I going to do?? Both of my favourite drivers out? I can cope with one of them not racing but both of them? That's seriously hell for me. I'd probably lose interest in five minutes. Bah.

Oh my lord! I am in love! Today I went to Lakeside Shopping Village in Doncaster. Most of it was closed because we got there too early, but once Lillywater(?) opened I saw Hello Kitty trainers! Firstly I saw kiddies ones and was jealous, but then I saw womens ones and almost died of excitement (yes I really am that sad). Obviously I bought all three pairs that they had in. Here they are...

How can you go wrong for £6?!
They seem really well made and I love the fact that the tongue is pink. I think it adds a little bit of extra niceness to them.

At first I wasn't sure about Siss, but I tried it on my lips and it looks rather nice actully. Pretty Please doesn't show up on my lips quite as well as I'd hoped it would, but perhaps that's because my lips are cracked at the moment so the colour can't spread evenly. As for the tinted lip conditioner... I am in love! It's possibly better than my Pink Fish lip conditioner. Perfect!

Samy Products
These are two lovely looking products by Samy. We have the Fat Hair '0 calories' Thickening Promade & spray. I tried a little of the promade and it reaally did make a difference. I hope the more I use these products the more impressed I get!

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Wipes & Beautyuk neutral palette
I ran out of my favourite Simple facial wipes a few weeks ago now and have been using others that are nowhere near as good as I was waiting for them to go into some kind of offer, but they haven't yet so I just bought one pack for now. Also pictured is the Beautyuk neutral palette. It looks rather pretty but I haven't even swatched it yet, but I've heard good things from people. Fingers crossed!

GOSH lip gloss & Maybelline Coverstick
I was quite pleased to see a few GOSH products were on sale for half price today in Superdrug. I picked up this reaally pretty lipgloss that sort of reminded me of Morning Glory by MAC. I also got a new concealer by Maybelline. I've tested it out and so far so good!

Hello Kitty Car Mats
These are the main reason I headed out today. They're on sale in Argos for £9.99, down from £24.99!! How good is that? The quality of these is amazing. They're so heavy and look really well made. The only worry I have is that they do look rather big. I hope they fit in my little Grande Punto. They only had one left in Argos too. Lucky!

I feel as though I'm being slightly childish but I think I'm back on my WWE obsession! This is often seen as sad because A) I'm a girl B) I'm 23 years old C) It's 'fake'.
Well, the way I look at it is... it was my first love. I adored WWE back when it was WWE and Bret Hart was on the top of his game. It was all I talked about and it will always have a special place in my heart because it was my first love! Jeff Hardy has been my favourite wrestler since around 1998 or whenever it was when he and Matt were the 'nobodies vs big name' people who were on the crappy weekend shows on Sky1 in their green plaid spandex haha.
Jeff has everything, right? He's the most entertaining wrestler there has ever been in the ring. Who else throws their body around in the name of entertainment as much as he does? He's also very sexy, obviously.
I saw one thing on amazon today that I couldn't say no to. It's the figure/model that is pictured in this post. It's Jeff doing the Swanton Bomb. How amazing does it look? I can't wait to get it.

Other wrestlers that I've been a fan of include Chris Jericho (mainly during his first 'heel' incarnation in the Attitude Era) and Triple H.

Anyway, I doubt anyone who follows this blog is that interested in my wrestling fixation haha.

I cannot wait for next Saturday for two reasons. A) It is the first day of my week of and B) IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!
I'll be 23 years old and I'll be getting my wonderful Soap & Glory Big Thrill hat box! My mum got it for me the other week when it was on Deal of the Week in Boots for only £20! That's a saving of £30. Not bad if you ask me. My mum is also treating me to a trip to Newcastle to see Editors in March which is my main Christmas present. I'm so excited. I adore Newcastle and I adore Editors even more! I cannot wait!

Hey everyone!
Finally I have two days off work! Let me tell you, 9 days straight (including a few 7am starts and 9pm finishes) really takes it out of you! I know people may not really think that working at HMV is a hard job and in some ways I suppose there are harder ones out there, but we have a lot to do, especially when you're in charge of a section like I am. There's orders to do, stock to be put out, top seller reports, CITing, repricing, serving, cleaning, moving sections around, remerchandising and at this time of year... helping Christmas temps out and other stuff. At Christmas working in the one and only music retailer is hell on earth. Don't get me wrong, I love my job and can't really see myself working anywhere else, but Christmas is so stressful and it ruined my Christmas last year. I'm not quite as stressed this year, thank god, but there's still a week to go! I'm working Christmas Eve and Boxing Day too. Blagh!

ANYWAY, two days off. I'm going to see Russell Howard tomorrow (as I've mentioned in every post I've made recently haha) I'm rather excited about it. Then on Sunday I'll be doing the last of my Christmas shopping on Sunday at Meadowhall. Woo! I only need to get a few bits, including buying something for my dad to give to my mum...

The dilema of what phone to buy once my contract is up continues. I was pretty certain that I was going to get the Nokia E72, but my friend bought an iPhone yesterday and let me play on it during my dinner today and now I am confused beyond belief. I think I might be leaning slightly towards the iPhone now. Except the main thing that I use my mobile for is the internet and the lay out of the internet on the iPhone is a little annoying, or maybe it's because i'm not used to it. I'm used to Opera Mini, where you have an option to have 'mobile view' where it fits the whole website to fit your screen and you can still read it without having to zoom in. Oh the confusion!

Now, Formula 1 chat. The main rumour going around right now is that Michael Schumacher will be returning next year with Mercedes GP. Part of me is excited to see Michael back but most of me is sad because Nick Heidfeld was supposed to be getting that drive with Mercedes. I really wish that he'd get given a good enough car to win some races. I think maybe he'll stay with Sauber or perhaps not get a drive at all and that would depress me a lot, espceially because Giancarlo is no longer going to be racing. I wish test drivers drove in races haha.

It's Field Music's new song and video. David and Peter are wonderful blokes and so nice. I can't wait to see them again in Feb and get all giggly while talking to David again. They are the most underrated musicians I've ever come across and any little bit of promotion I can give them is my pleasure!

Heartbeats by Lady Gaga Earphones :)

So, I did it. I bought my Lady Gaga Heartbeats earphones and I'm actually surprised at which colour I got! I thought it was between the silver or red ones, but I came out of work with the Black Chrome ones. They are so beautiful. They have a hint of a brassy colour to them that gives them such a pretty unique look. They are £79.99, but with my discount they were £55.99 and I traded in a couple of PS3 games and only paid £27.00, so that's pretty good. They are beautiful. So stylish and quite a fashion statement as well as functional!

So, another day closer to seeing Russell Howard again. I better not be so tired from working 9 days in a row that I'm falling asleep during him! Although with how funny he is I doubt that it's likely. LOVE Russell!

I used my Tigi Dumb Blonde Reconstructor today and my hair smiles of pineapples. Yuuuummy. I might be dying my hair again shortly with one of those ten minute dye things. I need to get rid of this ginger in my hair it's doing my head in! Toners and purple blonde brightening shampoo isn't working that well, but the last time we did a strand test of my hair it broke off and I don't want to be going in to work with no hair! lol.

I feel pretty depressed lately. I always get really down at Christmas. It was ok when I was at school but working over Christmas is just hell. I hate it. Customers asknig stupid questions, having to fix other peoples mistakes, having to cover for people who don't turn up. Sigh. I'm stressed and feel like crying quite a lot. Haha. Pretty funny, really.

Oh well. I think I'm going to buy the Lady Gaga Heartbeats headphones, but I'm not sure which ones to get, the red ones or the chrome ones. They're both so pretty. Uber expensive at £79.99, but with my discount they'd be about £55 which isn't that bad. Aren't they pretty?

I'm currently watching Jingle All The Way. It's one of the only Christmas films that I enjoy watching. What's your favourite Christmas film?

Hello all. How's everyone doing? I'm going to try and keep this thing a little bit more updated. I always tend to start something and never really finish it, but oh well.

So, here's a few things that will be happening in the next year-
Russell Howard - I'll be off to see Russell Howard next Saturday and I'm rather excited about it! It'll be my second time of seeing him and hopefully it'll be muchos fun. I'm going with one of my best friends again. We met him last time.

He's a really nice bloke. It was a pleasure to meet him.

Dave Gorman - I'm proud to say that next year I will be witnessing Dave Gorman live for the first time. That man is a legend. Who else would travel all over the world just to meet people with the same name as him? Who'd travel all over the world to meet people who find him some Googlewacks (If you don't know what it is then google it hehe) I'm on the second row then I see him so that'll be another first. I've never really been any closer than row G. Can't wait!

Lee Mack - I adore Lee Mack. Not Gonig Out was a pleasant surprise for me and his live show DVD is quite funny. How can you not laugh at the 'swearing in front of your nan' bit? hilarity! I can't wait to see him for the first time.

Field Music - Good lord I cannot wait for this! Field Music are simply fantastic and very underrated. I've never see a more fantastic and inventive band in my life. Fabulous. I've seen them in several incarnations and I fall a little more in love with them every single time.

Jamie Cullum - I've never seen Jamie Cullum before and I'm rather looking foward to it. It'll be a whole different kind of show than what I'm used to so it'll be an interesting one, I think. Jamie is super talented so it should be brill.

Editors - I'll be off to Newcastle next year to see Editors because on their next tour they arent really playing a show near me and I love Newcastle so it was a good excuse to get up there again! I'm going with my mum which should be amusing. My mum's like the coolest mum in the world! It'll be the first time that I've been to Newcastle not to see an incarnation of Field Music or Maximo Park. lol. Woo Editors!

NICK & FISI!

I seriously can think of no more perfect photograph. Both of my favourite Formula One drivers together in 1st & 3rd in qualifying for the Belgian GP.
I watched the race this morning and I was so happy to see Giancarlo Fisichella finish in second place, although I beleive he could've won if it wasn't for the KERS on Kimi's Ferrari. If the safety car hadn't come out I believe Fisi would have won it by a good margin. Still, second is an amazing result for Force India and Giancarlo. It's the first points ever for Force India and for their first points to be from second position is amazing!

I also had high hopes from Nick Heidfeld, but sadly he didn't get an amazing start. By the first corner he was second, but I think someone hit him and he was relagated to around 8th place. He managed to finish in 5th place! It's still points for him and the team.

Congratulations to Giancarlo & Nick. And thankful for making my weekend!

MAC lipstick comparison - Saint Germain & Colour Crafted

I know a few people are talking about how MAC's Colour Crafted lipstick is a more wearable version of Saint Germain, well I'd be inclined to disagree with that. Saint Germain is more a bubblegum bluey-pink colour while Colour Crafted is just a pretty light pink colour.

Colour Crafted is a Frost & Saint Germain is an Amplified, the first Amplified lipstick I bought (and my only) and I find it rather hard to wear without tonning it down slightly by applying it with a lip brush, but I do love the colour.
